Due to bad weather the course went from a road 2 miles to tarmac, multi terrain and cross country with some very tight corners and muddy sections.
The route was also 2 laps so overtaking also became a part of the race after the early legs. The team was using this as practise for the 6 stage relays
later in the year.
On first leg were Raymond Edgar & James Dalgleish. Raymond feeling slightly unwell shook off any feelings of illness and brought the team home in
first place in a superb time of 10.29 with the fastest overall leg of the day with James bringing the B team home in 7th place with a solid 11.55.
Next out for the A team was David Brown who had a solid run and even had time to fall at the start but hold onto and extend the lead with an excellent
11.22. Out for the B on 2nd leg was Mark Gardner who had struggled since the Westminster Mile a week earlier with a throat infection but brought the B team
into 4th with a time of 11.29.
The A team had William Onek extend the lead even further on leg 3 with an excellent 11.06 finishing with the third fastest time of the day and setting
LMAC up for the win. On third leg for the B team was Gareth Woodcock who held LMAC B team 4th position with a swift 12.27. The final legs were run by Kev Wilson (A team) and Gavin Lloyd (B team) and both gave their all to hold the teams places. Kev made light work of the course and finished with a credible 11.42 and bringing the team home to victory. Gavin ran a solid leg of 11.58 to put the B team in 4 place by over a minute.
