Lancaster 5k race series
The Lancaster 5k Saturday night race series continues to grow in popularity with over 90 people finishing the event on 28th July.
As usual there was a strong turnout from Lancaster & Morecambe AC athletes and first back to the finish was David Brown with an excellent run of 16m.25 placing him 11th overall. In 19th position was Lee Parrington with a good run of 17m.31 and not far behind in 20th was Tony Jewitt in 17m.51.
First female back for the club was Jayne Perry with a strong run of 20m.00. Following Jayne was Carole Wilkinson in a good time of 22m.42 and Emily Stapleton running well 24m.48.
