On Saturday 25^th July a select bunch of Lancaster and Morecambe athletes travelled to Bolton for the 4^th Mid Lancs League meeting of the track and field season.

In the 800m Adam Bateson came 3^rd in a time of 2:15.9 in the under 17 men’s 800m, Adam also ran in the 1500m finishing 4^th. Adam’s sister Hannah ran well in the 800m winning the senior ladies race in a time of 2.22.6, Hannah also won the 1500m race in a time of 4:56.1. Hannah was followed home in the 800m by Kathy Winrow in a pb time of 2:41.8. Another pb in the 800m came for Sarah Hodgson in the under 15 girl’s race she ran 2:35.8 for 3^rd place and ran a pb in the 300m with a time of 52.4 secs. Harry Modley also competed in the 800m finishing 4^th in a time of 2:18.6.

In the 100m Frank Shepherd equalled his pb finishing 3^rd in 11.3 secs, Frank also came 3^rd in the senior men’s 200m race in 23.4 secs. In the under 13 girls Zoe Lynch competed in the 100m running a pb time of 15 secs to finish 6^th in her heat, Zoe finished 6^th in the shot putt with a putt of 6.21m and 3^rd in the discus with a throw of 14.59m.
